12.09.2025. As the world moves towards the USD 480 billion timber and pulp market of tomorrow (FAO, 2023), transparency and responsibility are the new drivers of competitiveness.

We are proud to rank No. 1 in the SPOTT ESG transparency evaluation of 100 timber companies.

The future of Central Africa’s forests is at stake

The SPOTT evaluation specifically focuses on the presence and/or degree of implementation of, the commitments, policies and practices deemed necessary to effectively manage and maintain Central Africa’s natural ecosystems:

  • Country-level disclosure: We publish all sourcing origins.
  • Forest-level traceability: 100% of our supply is traceable all the way to the forest of origin.
  • Geo-referenced maps: With 1 million+ hectares mapped, we make our forest boundaries publicly accessible.
  • Deforestation-free supply: We demonstrate it across our operations — fully aligned with the 2030 global deforestation targets (SDG 15).
  • Advanced monitoring: We deploy satellite systems and third-party audits to ensure compliance under the incoming EUDR regulation.
  • Supplier engagement: We lead with transparent, accountable partnerships to minimise illegal timber risks and strengthen community livelihoods.

Transparent safeguards, globally important

The climate crisis and deforestation are accelerating. Forests stabilize water, carbon and biodiversity — global markets depend on them.

Our approach is not just to maintain the bio-geographical characteristics of tropical forests, but also to respect labour rights and carry out participatory processes.

Investing today for tomorrow

Securing the competitiveness of a business model that protects irreplaceable ecosystems will strengthen, even elevate, the criteria for responsible forest management: it’s a win-win!
