11.08.2025. We don’t sell directly to parents or schools. But we craft our certified hardwood products as if we did.
From sourcing to processing, we apply the same level of care and rigour whether our wood ends up in a private residence, a marina, or a hospital.

That means:
- Harvesting responsibly from FSC® and PEFC™-certified forests, with full traceability and in full compliance with the law and international best practice
- Processing without harmful additives — thanks to its high natural durability, our solid hardwood does not require chemical treatment. No pesticides or fertilizers are used in our natural forest management. Non-toxic components/adhesives are used in our wood processing facilities. No highly hazardous pesticides are used, as listed by FSC in its Pesticides policies and standards and as listed by WHO (Annex 1A, 1b), the Stockholm and Rotterdam conventions.
- Certification for our engineered laminated-scantlings, to make sure they were processed and that they will perform, safely — even in sensitive environments
- Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are available for our products. But safety isn’t just about the product. It’s also about how we communicate, how we source and engage.
We uphold strict internal guidelines to ensure that every aspect of our operations — including our branding and communication — respects the dignity and rights of everyone :

- No inappropriate content, no stereotypes, no nudity. Our visual language and marketing materials are consciously designed to be family-safe — aligning with our broader values of inclusion, dignity and social responsibility.
- Due diligence in digital and physical supply chains: We proactively prevent and mitigate risks to children’s rights by sourcing pharmaceuticals, vehicles, protective equipment, logistics services, and digital tools — including social media platforms — from reputable international partners who publish their own commitments against modern slavery, forced labour and child exploitation.
- A commitment grounded in values: Our Code of Conduct affirms our respect for the human rights of all — including vulnerable groups such as children, women, and Indigenous Peoples. We promote social dialogue, health and safety, information access and community consultation at every level of our operations.
Investing in Real Opportunities for Children

Our commitment goes beyond compliance:
- In the heart of the Congo Basin, we operate a library of over 9,000 volumes — the largest in the entire Sangha department, the region where we harvest and process our wood — where local children can study on the same educational materials used in Brazzaville’s leading schools, nearly 900 km away.
Here, children don’t just read — they grow.
With free IT and English classes, we help equip the next generation with the tools and confidence to engage with the world.
Safety, as a Marker of Professionalism
For our clients — specifiers, processors and wood professionals — this isn’t just a moral commitment. It’s a technical guarantee.
When you choose wood that’s crafted under safe conditions , you’re choosing a supply chain that reflects the highest standards — in quality, in care and in credibility.
In a world of evolving regulations, being safe isn’t a niche feature.
If our wood can be trusted underfoot where children take their first steps — it can be trusted anywhere, across every use case.
